For over 50 years Electronic Alarms has been dedicated to providing residential and commercial customers with reliable sales, service, installation and monitoring of integrated security and life safety systems.
Electronic Alarms was founded in 1969, under the name Electronic Alarm Systems, as a father and son business operating out of the Guzeika family’s garage in Warwick, Rhode Island. Their mission was to protect homes and businesses with the newly emerging security technologies and security systems, backed up by personalized service to support every customer.
A lot has changed since 1969, but as Electronic Alarms has grown to become one of the leading security systems providers in Rhode Island and Southern New England, protecting thousands of homes and businesses, the mission has not wavered. Every day, the Electronic Alarms team works hard to combine the most advanced security technologies with unparalleled customer service to people and property.
In 2012, Electronic Alarm Systems, and its commercial fire division Phoenix Fire Alarm & Communication, became part of the American Alarm and Communications family of companies and now operate as Electronic Alarms. This merger of two family-owned security system companies brings together two trusted teams, who leverage each other’s strengths to provide integrated life-safety and security technology solutions for customers across New England.
The company remains family-owned and locally managed. Electronic Alarms has a fleet of vans on the road every day, staffed by experienced technicians available for routine service calls or emergency repairs 24-7. Electronic Alarms customers rest comfortably knowing that the monitoring of their security system is not outsourced to some distant third-party, but instead is done by our own team, at our own 24-hour Security Command Center based here in New England.
Electronic Alarms provides security system services for all types of property — from single-family homes, to multi-site corporate and retail operations, to major public and private institutions in the Rhode Island area. For commercial security system customers with operations that extend beyond New England, Electronic Alarms serves customers nationwide through the Security Network of America, of which American Alarm and Communications is a founding partner.
